  • DAY 1: Villa Marshes,Pucusana/Lachay

Early drive visit to Villa for some tarfet secies then we wll drive to Pucusana for a semi pelagic boat trip for target species. Then we will drive directly to Lomas de Lachay. There we will bird direclty for the Cactus Canastero (E) and other endemics at our spot. Then we will look for the other species found at this natural reserve. Then we will drive to Santa Eulalia. Night in Hotel.

 Birds: Coastal Miner, Grayish Miner, Thick-billed Miner, Least Seedsnipe, Tawny-throated Dotterel, Yellowish Pipit, Black-chested Buzzard Eagle, Variable Hawk, American Kestrel, Eared Dove, Croaking Ground-Dove, Oasis and Amazilia Hummingbirds, Vermilion Flycatcher, Blue-and-white Swallow, Hooded Siskin, Grassland Yellow-Finch, Peruvian Meadowlark, Raimondi’s Yellow-Finch, Burrowing Owl, Peruvian Thick-knee, Short-tailed Field-Tyrant, Groove-billed Ani, Parrot-billed, Chestnut-throated Seedeaters and more

  • DAY 2: Birding up to Milloq bogs, Junin

Early start drive up to santa eulala canyon, Milloq bogs and birding along the road. Then we will drive to Junin. Dinner and night in Hotel.

  • DAY 3: Junin Lake, Huanuco

Early boat trip along Junin Grebe for all junin specialities and then we will start our drive to Huanuco. Night in Hotel

Birds: Ornate Tinamou, Common Miner, Black Siskin, Junin Rail, White-tufted Grebe, Puna Teals, Yellow-billed Pintail, Andean Duck. Puna Ibis, Andean Gull, Common Moorhen, Andean Coot, Andean Avocet, Wren-like Rushbird, Many-coloured Rush-Tyrant, Plumbeous Rail, Short-billed, Common Miner, Black-billed Shrike-Tyrant, Andean Negrito, Ash-breasted Sierra-Finch, Dark-winged Miner (E), Cordilleran Canastero, Andean Flicker, Black-breasted Hillstart(E), Pale-tailed Canastero and many others.

  • DAY 4: Birding Carpish-Paty Trail

Early drive (abot 40 minutes) to get caspish tunnel where we will start our birding day along the humid cloudforest  for the rest of the day. Then we will back to Huanuco. Night in Hotel

Birds: Unstreaked Tit-Tyrant (E), Inca Flycatcher (E), Peruvian Wren (E), White-rumped Hawk, Golden-browed Chat-Tyrant, Masked Saltator, Chestnut Antpitta, Bay Antpitta, Trilling Tapaculo and the endemic Peruvian Rufous-vented Tapaculo (E), Masked Fruiteater (E), Green-and-Black Fruiteater, Peruvian Tyrannulet, Grass-green Tanager, Brown-flanked Tanager (E), Black-capped Hemispingus, Yellow-scarfed Tanager (E), Buff-breasted Mountain Tanager and many more.

  • DAY 5: Birding Bosque Unchoq

Early drive to Cochabamba village which is the entrance for our birding day. Here we will spend the rest of the day searching for our main target and unique species found along the Bosque as a mixture of chusquea bamboo and cloudforest. We will ave a chance to find several mixed flocks alogn the day. We will back late afternoon to Huanuco. Night in Hotel 

Birds: Golden-backed Mountain-Tanager (E), Bay-vented Cotinga (E),  Pardusco, Brown-flanked Tanager (E), Baron’s Spinetail (E), Black-crested Tit-Tyrant, Coppery Metaltail, Rufous-browed Hemispingus (E), NeblinaTapaculo (E), Line-fronted Canastero, White-banded Tyrannulet, Ochraceous-breasted Flycatcher, Rufous-breasted Chat-Tyrants, Sword-billed Hummingbird. Large-footed Tapaculo, White-chinned Thistletail, Many-striped Canastero, Barred Fruiteater, White-throated Tyrannulet, Peruvian Chat-Tyrant, Red-rumped Bush Tyrant, Paramo Pipit, Blue-backed Conebill, Golden-collared Tanager and many more

  • DAY 6: Birding drive to Lima

Today we will try to do some birding at carpish or unchoq if we need or we can start our birding drive to Limas. We usually arrive to Lima late afternoon.
