You will arrive to Lima International Airport. We will welcome and transfer to our hotel near the airport.
- DAY 2: Flight to Puerto Maldonado & Birding
Morning transfer to Lima Airport for our flight to Puerto Maldonado. There we will welcome and transfer to our hotel. After Lunch we will do our afternoon birding and some owling for the end of the day. Dinner and night in Puerto Maldonado Hotel
Birds: Purus, white-throated, bluish-fronted Jacamars, Spot-throated, Crimson-crested, Lineated, Little, Cream-colored Woodpeckers, Black, Red-throated Caracaras, Red-bellied, Blue-headed, Chestnut-fronted Macaws, Blue-headed Parrot, Black-capped Donnacobiuos, Red-breasted Medowlark, Rusty-fronted Tody-tyrant, Common Tody-Flycatcher, Yellow-browed Tody-Flycatcher and many others.
- DAY 3: Chuncho Macaw Clay Lick
Early drive and boat ride to the upper Tambopata River with the chance to find Orinoco Goose, Razor-Billed Curassow and with good luck Jaguar, Tapir or even Puma. We will take with us our breakfast. We will try to arrive before at the best time to enjoin the popular Chuncho Macaw Clay Lick. Every morning macaws, parrots, parakeets meet here to socialize and get some minerals from the river bank (cliff) as important for their diet. The activity starts early morning and usually end before or after noon. After Picnic lunch we will do our birding back to Puerto Madonado along the river and road. Dinner and night in Pueto Maldonado Hotel
- DAY 4: Birding to Sandoval Oxbow Lake
Morning birding along the trails. After breakfast we will back to Puerto Maldonado town Office. Then we will go to Madre de Dios River port where we will navigate for 30 minutes down stream to arrive sandoval entrance. There we will bird along the new walkway plattform on the old trail with the chance to find some mixed flocks, toucans, woodcreepers, tanagers among others species found along the trail. At the end of the trail we will take a small boat with paddles to explore the lake sides for herons, kingfishers on our way to the lodge. Dinner and night in Sandoval Home Lodge
Birds: Purple-throated Fruitcrow, Bare-necked Fruitcrow, Golden-Collared Toucanet, Emerald Toucanet, Curl-crested Aracari, Chestnut-eared Aracari, Ivory-billed Aracari, Ringed Woodpecker, Blue-headed Macaw, Red and Green Macaw, Scarlet Macaw, Drab Water-Tyrant, Capped Heron, Ladder-tailed Nightjar, Sand-colored nighthawk, Cocoi Heron, Horned Screamer, Great-black Hawk, White-winged Swallow, White-banded Swallow and many others.
- Day 5-6: Full days Birding
Early birding by boat along the lake for resident species and with a good luck a family of Giant Otters, Black Caiman, Agami Heron, Capped Heron, kingfishers and many others wildlife. After a nice early morning, we will back to our lodge for breakfast and after we will keep birding along the trails. Then we will take the boat again to search for more species before dark.
The second day we will bird along the trails for the morning and afternoon. But if we need to do the lake again for some missing species there is a chance for sure. Dinner and Nights in Sandoval Home Lodge.

- DAY 7: Birding, Puerto Maldonado - Exporers Inn Lodge
Today we will leave Sandoval lake. After breakfast we will do some birding along the lake and the trail to get the main river. Then we will back to Puerto Maldonado where will start our next briding spot. we will have 3 hours boat trip to get our lodge with the chance to see several spcecies along the Tambopata river bank. We usually arrive to our lodge late afternoon. There is a chance to do some owling before dinner. Night in Explorers Inn Lodge
- DAY 8: Canopy Tower Birding and trails.
Early breakfast and we will go to the canopy tower for the first hours of the morning. Then we will keep birding along the trail for some other species. After lunch we will bird other trails and back to canopy tower for some missing species if we need for the afternoon. Night in Explorers Inn Lodge

- DAY 9: Birding and flight to Cusco
Morning birding for target species. Breakfas and we will be transfer to Puerto Maldonado airport for our flight to Cusco. Depends of our arrival time to cusco we will do some birding along the andean lakes Poroy and Piuray. Dinner and night in Hotel.
- DAY 10: Birding the Manu Road
Breakfast and then we will start our birding adventure driving to Hucarpay Lake for target species. Then we will continuos our drive to Paucartambo and Acjanaco pass where Manu National Park starts. After the pass we will start searching for mixed flocks along man road. We will try to get in time for Lyred-Tailed Nightjar display at dusk another wise we will do on next afternoon Dinner and Night in Manu Paradise Lodge (at 1500m)

- DAY 11-12-13: Full days Birding
Early and late afternoon birding along the road for mixed flocks and residents species. We will enjoin our free time watching the feeders. We will try also at dusk for some owls. Nights in Manu Paradise Lodge

- DAY 14: Birding drive the upper Manu Road
Morning birding for some missing species. Then we we will start our drive up the mountains to get our last birding lodge in Manu Road. Night in Wayqecha Station.
Target Species: Scarlet-bellied Mountain-Tanager, Grass-green Mountain-Tanager, Chestnut-bellied Mountain-Tanager, Hooded Mountain-Tanager, Barred Becard, Red-crested and Chestnut-crested Cotingas, Slaty-backed Chat-tyrant, Golden-headed Quetzal, Golden-collared Tanager, Gray-breasted Mountain-Toucan, Blue-banded Toucanet, Red and White Antpitta (E), Marcapata Spinetail (E) and many others.and many others.
- DAY 15: Birding and drive to Cusco
Today we will have a full Morning birding for some missing and extra species on our way back to Cusco. Dinner and night in Hotel
- DAY 16: Birding Apurimac Valley -Soraypampa road
Early drive to Limatambo where Mollepata Road starts as our new birding spot for all endemic species found along the valley. At the end of the road we will be by the base of soraypampa glaciar with the chance to watch Andean Condor. We will back late afternoon to our place. If we need we will do some owling. Dinner and night in Hotel
Birds: buff-fronted, koepecks Screech-Owl, Creamy-crested Spinetail, Apurimac Brush-Finch, Vilcabamba Spinetail, Pale-tailed Canastero, Vilcabamba Tapaculo, White-tufted Sunbean, Andea Condor, Rusty-fronted Canastero, Stripe-headed Antpitta, Giant Conebill, Tufted Tit-tyrant and many others.
- DAY: 17: Birding Abra Malaga , Carrizales, Ipal
Early driving up to the pass for birding the small polylepis forest for some especies restrcited to this area. Then we will continue our birding drive to Carrizales (chusquea Bamboo) for some other endemic species. Then we will keep birding to Ipal Ecolodge for Lunch. Then we will bird the cloud forest surrounding and then we will back to Ollantaytambo. Dinner and Night in Hotel
Birds: White-tufted Sunbean (E), Chestnut-breasted Mountain-Finch (E), Cuzco Brush-Finch (E), Parodis Hemispingus (E), Unstreaked Tit-Tyrant (E), Inca Wren (E), Marcapata Spinetail (E), White-browed Tit-Spinetail (E), Junin Canastero (E), Masked Fruiteater (E), Sclaters Tyrannulet, Ocelated Piculet and many others.
- DAY 18: Machu Picchu time!
Early transfer to Ollantaytambo train Station for our train trip to Aguas Calientes and buss drive up to the entrance. There we will meet our local guide for your culture time along the inca site. After the amazing time along Machu Picchu we will back to the small town for lunch and then our train back to cusco. Dinner and Night in Hotel
- DAY 19: Villa Marshes/Pucusana - Flight Home
Morning flight to Lima. As soon as we arrive to lima, we will drive for 40 minutes to get the wetland where we can find residents and migrans species along the marsh close to pacific ocean. Then we will go to Pucusana for our semi pelagic boat trip. Then we will celebrate our amazing trip togheter with a nice lunch. After we will transfer you to Lima Airport.
