- DAY 1: Arrive to Lima - Peru
We will pick you up from lima airpot and transfer to our hotel. Usually international flights arrive to Peru from 10:30 pm to 11:30 pm. But remind us about your arrival time. Night in Hotel.
- DAY 2: Villa Marshes/Pucusana - Cusco - Limatambo
After breakfast we will do our check-out the hotel and start birding along Villa Marshes (Pantanos de Villa) for several species found here. Then we will drive again to get Pucusana fishing town for our semi-pelagic trip. Then if time permits we can explore Puerto Viejo, San Andres area for some extra species. Them we will drive to Lima airport for our late afternoon flight to Cusco. There we we will be transfer to our hotel in Limatambo
Target Species: Many-Colored Rusth-Tyrant, Wren-like Rushbird, Great Grebe, Yellow-Hooded Blackbird, Inca Tern, Peruvian Booby, Blue-footed Booby, Peruvian Pelican, Humboldt Penguin, Guanay and Red-legged Cormorants, Blackish Oystercatcher, Surf Cinclodes (E), Coastal Miner (E), Amazilia Hummingbird, Peruvian Medowlark, Peruvian Thick-knee, Purple-collared Woodstart, Peruvian Pygmy-Owl, Pacific Parrotlet and many others.
- DAY 3: Apurimac Endemic Species
Early drive up to Mollepata road where we can enjoin a our new birding spot for several species very restricted to the area. We will have a pic-nic lunch to enhance our birding time along the Valley. After this amazing area we will drive to Ollantaytambo. Night in Hotel
Target Species: White-eared Puffbird, White-wiged Black-Tyrant, Plain-tailed Canastero, White-tuffed Sunbean (E), Vilcabamba Thisleatail (E), Apurimac Brush-finch (E), Stripe-headed Antpitta, Vilcabamba Tapaculo (E), Andean Condor, Chestnut-breasted Mountain-finch (E), Creamy-crested Spinetail (E), Giant Conebill, Tit-like Dacnis and Many others.
- DAY 4: Carrizales - Abra Malaga
Early Drive to Abra Malaga Pass for Polylepis forest, Carrizales (Chusquea Bamboo & cloud forest) for restricted range habitat, then we will extend to Ipal Eco Lodge for extra Species. After our amazing birding time we will back to Ollantaytambo. Dinner and Night in Hotel.
Birds: White-winged Cinclodes, Royal Cinclodes, Andean Lapwing, Black Siskin, Mountain Caracara, Ash-breasted Sierra-Finch, Plumbeous Sierra-Finch, White-Winged Diuca-Finch, White-Browed Tit-Spinetail (ENDEMIC), Junin Canastero (ENDEMIC), Unstreaked Tit-Tyrant (ENDEMIC), Red and White Antpitta (ENDEMIC), Cusco Brush-Finch (ENDEMIC), Parodi’s Hemispingus (ENDEMIC), Black-Capped Hemispingus, Plushcap, Scarlet-bellied Mountain-Tanager, Streak-Headed Antpitta, Tawny Tit-Spinetail, Blue-Backed Conebill, Amethyst-Throated Sunangel, Rufous-breasted Chat-Tyrant, Brown-backed Chat-Tyrant, Sclaters Tyrannulet, Swallow-tailed Hummingbird, Pileated Finch, Ocellated Piculet and many others.
Early Train ride for 2 hours to get Aguas Calientes town wich is the entrance to one of the wonder in world Machu Picchu Ruin. There we will enjoin the inca site for the rest of the morning and if there is time we can do some birding before our train ride to Ollantaytambo and then buss drvie to Cusco. Night in Hotel.
- DAY 6: Huacarpay Lake – Mountain Cloud forest
Early breakfast and then we will drive up to San Salvador Lake (4,100m) on the way to Paucartambo village for lunch on our favorite local restaurant. Then we will drive up to Acjanaco pass where Manu National Park starts. After the pass we will probably start to see more species on our way to our first lodge in Manu road. Night in lodge

- DAY 7: Full day birding along manu road
We will have full morning birding along Manu road and lodge surroundings and we will have some time to enjoin the feeders. After lunch, we will keep birding for some missing species and we will try to see Lyre-tailed Nightjar display before dusk. Night in lodge

- Day 8: Birding lower Manu Road - Amazon
Breakfast and we will have full morning birding explroing the lower part of manu road untill we get alto madre dios river where we will get a boat to navigate for 20 minutes to reach our next birding spot. After all accommodations we will relax watching the feeders. We will do some owling before dinner. Night in lodge
Early breakfast and we will bird along the forest and then late afternoon also for some extra species. For our free time we need to concentrate around the garden for hummingbirds and others species on the feeders. We will do some owling before dinner. Night in lodge.
- DAY 10: Birding up the mountain forest
Early start birding along the road up to the mirador and back to 2,900 m for mountain species. We will do pic nic lunch for more birds more fun, We usually arrive to our last lodge late afternoon. Dinner and Night in lodge
Target Species: Scarlet-bellied Mountain-Tanager, Grass-green Mountain-Tanager, Chestnut-bellied Mountain-Tanager, Hooded Mountain-Tanager, Barred Becard, Red-crested and Chestnut-crested Cotingas, Slaty-backed Chat-tyrant, Golden-headed Quetzal, Golden-collared Tanager, Gray-breasted Mountain-Toucan, Blue-banded Toucanet, Red and White Antpitta (E), Marcapata Spinetail (E) and many others.and many others.
Early birding along the road looing for some missing species for the whole day. We will try to do some owling before dinner. Night in Lodge.
- DAY 12: Birding drive to Cusco
Early breakfast and we will search for some missing species and then we will head up to Cusco City. Dinner and night in Hotel.
