- DAY 1: Arrive to Lima - Peru
We will pick you up from lima airpot and transfer to our hotel. Usually international flights arrive to Peru from 10:30 pm to 11:30 pm. But remind us about your arrival time. Night in Hotel.
- DAY 2: Villa Marshes/Pucusana - Cusco
After breakfast we will do our check-out the hotel and start birding along Villa Marshes (Pantanos de Villa) for several species found here. Then we will drive again to get Pucusana fishing town for our semi-pelagic trip. Then if time permits we can explore Puerto Viejo, San Andres area for some extra species. Them we will drive to Lima airport for our late afternoon flight to Cusco. Night in Hotel
Target Species: Many-Colored Rusth-Tyrant, Wren-like Rushbird, Great Grebe, Yellow-Hooded Blackbird, Inca Tern, Peruvian Booby, Blue-footed Booby, Peruvian Pelican, Humboldt Penguin, Guanay and Red-legged Cormorants, Blackish Oystercatcher, Surf Cinclodes (E), Coastal Miner (E), Amazilia Hummingbird, Peruvian Medowlark, Peruvian Thick-knee, Purple-collared Woodstart, Peruvian Pygmy-Owl, Pacific Parrotlet and many others.
Early Train ride for 2 hours to get Aguas Calientes town wich is the entrance to one of the wonder in world Machu Picchu Ruin. There we will enjoin the inca site for the rest of the morning and if there is time we can do some birding before our train ride to Ollantaytambo and then buss drvie to Cusco. Night in Hotel.
- DAY 4: Manu National Park - Manu Road
Breakfast and then we will start our birding adventure driving to Hucarpay Lake for target species. Then we will continuos our drive to Paucartambo village for lunch on our favorite local restaurant. After we will move to Acjanaco pass where Manu National Park starts. After the pass we will probably start to see more species on our way to our first lodge in Manu road located at 1,500 meters. We will try to get in time for Lyred-Tailed Nightjar display at dusk another wise we will do on next afternoon Dinner and Night in lodge
Target Species: Bearded Mountanier (E), Moustached Flowerpiercer, Hooded Mountain-Tanager, Scarlet-bellied Mountain-Tanager, Golden-collared Tanager, Grass-green Tanager, Gray-mantled Wren, Mountain Foliage-Gleaner, Olive-Backed Woodcreeper, Stripe Threehunter, Scale-crested Pygmy-Tyrant, Inca Flycatcher(E), Marble-faced Bristle-Tyrant, Stripe-Chested Antwren, White-backed Fire-Eye, Black-eared Hemispingus, Yellow-breasted Antwren, Yungas Manakin, Yellow-throated, common Clorospingus, Dusky-Green Oropendola, Brown Tinamou, Rufous-tailed Tyrant, Chestnut-backed Antshrike, Unicolored Antshrike, Andean Motmot, Rufescent Screech-Owl, Blue-naped Chlorophonia, Yellow-breasted Antbird, Black-streaked Puffbird and many others.
- DAY 5-6: Full days Birding
Early and late afternoon birding along the road for mixed flocks and residents species. We will try also at dusk for some owls. Meals at lodge and overnights.

- DAY 7: Birding drive the upper Manu Road
Today we will search for missing species. Then we we will drive up the mountains to get our next birding lodge found at 2,900 meters. . Dinner and night in Lodge.
Target Species: Scarlet-bellied Mountain-Tanager, Grass-green Mountain-Tanager, Chestnut-bellied Mountain-Tanager, Hooded Mountain-Tanager, Barred Becard, Red-crested and Chestnut-crested Cotingas, Slaty-backed Chat-tyrant, Golden-headed Quetzal, Golden-collared Tanager, Gray-breasted Mountain-Toucan, Blue-banded Toucanet, Red and White Antpitta (E), Marcapata Spinetail (E) and many others.and many others.
- DAY 8: Birding drive to Cusco
Early breakfast and we will search for some missing species on our way back to Cusco City. Dinner and night in Hotel.
- DAY 9: Flight to Puerto Maldonado - Tambopata Reserve
Today we will take a morning flight and we will welcome to Puerto Maldonado and transfer to the office if we need. Then we will start our boat trip for 3 hours to get our lodge. Dinner and Night in Lodge.
- DAY 10-11: Oxbow lake, Canopy Tower, Parrot Clay Lick
Early breakfast and we will visit the Oxbow Lake for several resident species and with luck a family of Giant Otters. In the afternoon we will go to the canopy tower for toucans, trogons and other specialities.
The second morning we will go to the parrot clay lick. Then we will keep birding along the trails for some other species. Meals anf night in Explorers Inn Lodge
Birds: Purple-throated Fruitcrow, Bare-necked Fruitcrow, Golden-Collared Toucanet, Emerald Toucanet, Curl-crested Aracari, Chestnut-eared Aracari, Ivory-billed Aracari, Ringed Woodpecker, Blue-headed Macaw, Red and Green Macaw, Scarlet Macaw and many others.
- DAY 12: Birding in Puerto Maldonado - Flight to Lima
Early birding the canopy tower and then we will be transfer to Puerto Maldonado airport for your afternoon flight to Lima and home connections.
