• DAY 1: Arrive in Lima 

All depends of your arrival to Peru, we will pick you up with your name at the Lima airport and transfer you to tehe hotel. We mainly stay in the near the Lima Airport to avoid long drive and trafic. Night in Lima 

•  DAY 2: Birding Villa Marshes, Pucusana - Cuzco

Breakfast and we will go by car for about 30 minutes south of Lima to Villa Marsh (Pantanos de Villa) for a couple of hours. Then we will drive for extra 30 minutes south of Pantanos de Villa to Pucusana fishing port for our Semi Pelagic birding Tour. There we will navigate for about one hour on our private local boat for penguins and other sea birds. After our first amazing birding morning, we will celebrate with delicious Peruvian lunch. Then we will head directly to Lima airport for our afternoon flight to Cuzco. After checking into our hotel, we will visit the main square and have nice dinner. Night in Cusco

Possible Species: Many-colored Rush-tyrant (coast specie), Wren-like Rushbird, Yellow-hooded Blackbird, Peruvian Meadowlark, Peruvian Thick-knee, Great Grebe, White-Cheeked Pintail, Plumbeous Rail, Gray-hooded Gull, Belchers Gull (Band-Tailed), kelp Gull, Gray Gull, Peruvian Pelican, Peruvian Booby, Surf Cinclodes (ENDEMIC), Guanay Cormorant, Red-Legged Cormorant, Blackish Oystercatcher, Humboldt Penguin, Inca Tern, Coastal Miner (ENDEMIC), Dark-Faced Ground-Tyrant, Short-Tailed Field-Tyrant, Parrot-Billed Seedeater, Purple-Throated Seedeater, Collared Warbling-Finch, Peruvian Sheartail, Amazilia Hummingbird, Yellowish Pipit and many more.

• DAY 3: Birding up to Limatambo/Mollepata

Early start up north east of Cusco to Limatambo/Mollepata. We will make some stops after Limatambo looking for White-eared Puffbirds, Pale-breasted Spinetail (apurimac sub sp). After checking into our hotel we will start our birding drive up to Soraypama at 4,300 m searching for Apurimac Brush-Finch (E),  Apurimac Spinetail (E), Vilcabamba Tapaculo (E), White-tufted Sunbean (E), Creamy-crested Spinetail (E), Rusty-fronted Canastero (E),  Chestnut-breasted Mountain-Finch (E), Golden-billed Saltator, Andean Flicker, Giant Conebill, Tit-like Dacnis, Black-throated Flowerpiercer, Paramo Seedeater, Tufted Tit-tyrant, Andean Lapwing and several other andean species found along the road and if we are lucky Andean Condor flying over our heads. In the evening we will try to find Koepckes Screech-Owl and Buff-fronted Owl before or after dinner. Night in Mollepata Hotel

•  DAY 4: Birding to Abra Malaga – Carrizales – Ipal

Early start up to Abra Malaga Pass at 3,400 m, where we will explore the main trail along the Polylepis forest for White-browed Tit-Spinetail (E), Tawny Spinetail, Junin Canastero (E), Puna Tapaculo, Stripe-headed Antpitta, Ash-breasted Tit-Tyrant and if we are lucky Royal Cinclodes. Then we will back to the main road to keep driving into the other side of the Pass to get to the Carrizales area for Chusquea Bamboo and cloud forest specialist as Cusco Brush-Finch (E), Parodis Hemispingus (E), Inca Wren (E), Marcapata Spinetail (E), Hooded Mountain-Tanager, Golden-Collared Tanager, Blue-black Tanager, and several other species. Depending on our arrival at our next birding spot we will spend birding for the rest of the afternoon and if there si any owl calling we will try to find ti before or after dinner. Night in Ipal Ecolodge

•  DAY 5: Birding Cloud forest near Ipal Ecolodge

Breakfast and we will head to the main birding spot along the hill forest searching for mixed flocks of Tanagers, Flycatchers, Barbet, and some other species. This area provides a chance to find the endemics Masked Fruiteater (E), Creamy-bellied Antwren (E), Blue-banded Toucanet, Ocellated Piculet, Golden-headed and crested Quetzal fi there is a good day. After lunch we will head back fon the way to Cusco to stay in Ollantaytambo. Dinner and Night in Hotel

• DAY 6: Machu Picchu Time!

Early train ride to Aguas Calientes to visit Machu Picchu where we will have an unforgettable experience along the Inca site for the rest of the morning. Then we can do some birding before and after our lunch. Then we will take our train back to Ollantaytambo. Dinner and Night in Ollantaytambo

Possible Species: Torrent Duck, White-capped Dipper, Inca Wren (E), Green and White Hummingbird (E), Ocellated Piculet, Masked Fruiteater (E), Chestnut-capped Brush-Finch, Pale-legged Warbler, Rusty Flowerpiercer, Tricolored Brush-Finch, Variable Antshrike, and many many.

• DAY 7: Hummingbirds and Birding to Manu Biosphere

Breakfast and we will visit the Santuary of Colibri where we will enjoin the fedeers and the nice garden. Then we will start our birding adventure into the famous Manu Road. We will drive up to Lake San Salvador at 4,300 m for extra andean species. Then we will arrive to Paucartambo village and Acjanaco Pass where Manu National Park begins and we will keep birding along road on our way to our first lodge in Manu. Depends of our arrival we will look the hummingbirds on the feeders. We will try for some Owls and Lyre-tailed Nightjar before dinner and Night in Cock of the Rock Lodge or Manu Paradise Lodge

•  DAY 8: Full birding day along Manu Road

Breakfast and we will start with the amazing Cock of the Rock Lek, we can watch this spectacular bird very close from a small blind. Then we will keep birding for the rest of the morning up and down the road. We will be back for Lunch and have some time off watching hummingbirds at the feeders in front of the Comedor. We will do some birding in the afternoon and search for owls if we needed. Dinner and night in Cock of the Rock Lodge

• DAY 9: Birding to the Lower Manu Road

Morning birding for some missing species: After lunch we will head to our next birding lodge at the lower side of Manu Road around 500 m after our accommodation we will spend some time birding at the lodge surroundings and feeder in front of the dining room. Dinner and night in Villa Carmen or Manu Biolodge as the new name

•  DAY 10: Full day Birding along the trails and feeders

We will have a full day to spend birding along the bamboo forest ealry morning and in the afternoon we will visit the new places running for local families where they have feeders for hummingbirds, Tanager, and Antpittas. Dinner and night in Villa Carmen Manu Biolodge as the new name

•  DAY 11: Birding to the Upper Manu Road

Morning birding along the bamboo forest for some missing species. After lunch we will start our birding drive up to the mountains cloud forest at 3,000m where is located our last lodge for our amazing birding trip along Manu Road. We will bird basically along the Manu road for mixed flocks or any bird sighting. As soon we arrive at our lodge if time permits we will enjoin the feeders for the end of the day. Dinner and night in Wayquecha Sation.

• DAY 12: Birding and back to Cuzco

Early birding along the Mountain cloud forest species. and after Lunch, we will head back to Cuzco. Dinner and night in Hotel
