DAY 1: Birding up to Plataforma - Scarlet Banded barbet!

An early drive up to Plataforma place, the road condition is really good after their maintenance a few years ago, the road was very difficult and took almost one day to reach the place. But in the last years taken only 2 or 3 hours to get to the place. We will do selected stops for certain species or any sightings along the road. After lunch, we will try to find some of the endemics Scarlet-banded Barbet (E) or Cordillera Azul Antbird (E) and several other species and if the climate is good we will search for nocturnal birds. Night in Capito Family House.

DAY 2: Full-day search for target species

We will have two days to search for the Scarlet-banded Barbet or Cordillera Azul Antbird and several other species such as Gray-tailed Piha, Jet Manakin, Blue-rumped Manakin, Scaled and Scarlet-breasted Fruiteater, White-fronted Nunbird, Strong-billed Woodcreeper and several mixed flocks found along this unique birding site and after happily sights the main target birds. After Lunch, we will see if we need to scan for one of the missing species. Night in Capito Family House

DAY 3: Birding up back to Tarapoto

Morning birding for some missing species and then we will start our back to Bellavista town and then Tarapoto. end of the Tour
