DAY 1: Flight to Huanuco - Carpish

Flight from Lima to Huanuco. Birding Tunnel Carpish Forest. Night in Huanuco

DAY 2-3: Birding Bosque Unchoq - Carpish

Early star drives up to Cochabamba village which is the entrance to Bosque Unchoq at 3,400 m where we will start our search for Golden-backed Mountain-Tanager (E), Coopery Metaltail (E), White-chinned Thisletail (E), Rufous-browed Hemispingus (E), Bay-vented Cotinga (E), Pardusco (E) and several other species found along the Polylepis. After a wonderful birding at the interesting birding spot, we will head back to Huanuco. Night in Hotel

DAY 4: Birding Carpish forest - Junin

Early birding at Carpish Forest for Peruvian Wren (E), Yellow-scarfed Tanager (E), Grass-Green Tanager, Lacrimose Mountain-Tanager, and several others. And an amazing few hours of birding, we will head to Junin town where we will be prepared for the next birding morning at Lake Junin surrounding. Night in Junin

DAY 5: Junin Lake - Huanuco - Lima

Early morning search for Junin Rail (E) and then for Junin Grebe (E) by boat and after a great boat trip we will explore the area surrounding for some other species found according to the season as Black-winged Miner (E), Black-breasted Hillstar (E), Junin Canastero (E), and a few other species. Then we will back to Huanuco for our flight to Lima.
