DAY 1: Santa Eulalia-Milloq Bog - Marcapomacochas

We will pick you up from your hotel around 4:00 am and start our drive up to Santa Eulalia entrance for about 2 hours and get some breakfast and then we will start our birding up the mountains along the canyon searching for all our target species. As soon as we get about high in the mountains we will have a chance for Andean Condor. The habitat will change according the altitud first some arid mountains, small rivers, mountains forest patches, small Polylepis forest along, andean bogs, andean lakes. We will have a picnic lunch to increase our time birding on the way to the place to stay. Dinner and night in Small Hotel at Pomacochas town.

DAY 2: Milloq Bog - Ticlio - Lima

Breakfast and we will start our birding drive searching for some missing species at 4,200 m high where we need to walk slowly and try to get some target species: White-bellied Cinclodes, Puna Snipe, Canasteros, Seedsnipe, Plover. Then we will start to drive back along the main central pave highway to Lima. We usually arrive around 7:00 pm around all depends how much time will spend along the birding area.

Target Species: Rufous-breasted Warbling-Finch, Bronze-tailed Comet, Black-necked Woodpecker, Striated Earthcreeper, Rusty-crowned Tit-Spinetail, Canyon Canastero and Rusty-bellied Brush-Finch, Peruvian Pygmy-Owl, Andean Condor, Great Inca-Finch, Bare-faced Ground-Dove, Andean Swift,  Peruvian Sheartail, Purple-collared Woodstar, Pied-crested Tit-Tyrant, Yellow-billed Tit-tyrant, White-browed Chat-Tyrant, White-capped Dipper, Chiguanco Thrush, Cinereous Conebill, Blue-capped Tanager, Mourning Sierra-Finch, Band-tailed Seedeater, Golden-bellied Saltator, Striated Earthcreeper, White-winged Diuca-Finch, Peruvian Sierra Finch, Diademed Plover, White-bellied Cinclodes (E), Andean Goose, Andean Condor, Puna Snipe, Giant Coot, Andean Hillstar, Mountain Caracara, Andean Flicker, Dorbignys Chat-Tyrant and many more.
